Nurse Practitioner, Complex Chronic Illness

About the role

Vindara Health is establishing a specialized clinic focused on complex chronic conditions including Long COVID, ME/CFS, POTS, MCAS, dysautonomia, and tick-borne infections. Our co-founder and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. David Kaufman, is one of the world's foremost specialists in these areas. We've built systems that minimize administrative burden so clinicians can focus on care.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient panel with complex chronic illnesses via telehealth
• Deliver patient care with adequate time for thorough investigation
• Participate in developing clinical protocols as the team expands
• Provide feedback on our clinical tools

Required qualifications

• DNP from an accredited nursing school
• Current AANP or ANCC board certification (FNP or AGPCNP/AGACNP)
• Active, unrestricted state APRN license (2+ states preferred)
• 3+ years post-certification clinical experience in primary care or internal medicine
• Clinical experience with MCAS, POTS, ME/CFS, Long COVID, EDS, dysautonomia, or tick-borne infections
• Telehealth experience
• A warm, unhurried encounter style, these patients need genuine listening
• Reliable internet and a secure workspace

Preferred qualifications

• IFMCP certification or functional/integrative medicine training
• Compact RN license
• Background in immunology, allergy, rheumatology, cardiology, or neurology
• Personal experience with the conditions we treat
