What we treat
Care for complex, overlapping chronic illness.
Many people reach us after years of normal test results, short appointments, and being told nothing is wrong. The conditions below rarely arrive one at a time. We care for them as they really present: overlapping, multi-system, and connected.
Conditions
The conditions we focus on.
Each of these can appear on its own. More often, they travel together — which is exactly the kind of complexity Vindara Health is built for.
-
Long COVID
A multi-system condition that persists after a COVID-19 infection. Symptoms vary from person to person and may include fatigue, post-exertional malaise, brain fog, breathlessness, autonomic symptoms, pain, sleep disruption, and immune or inflammatory problems.

ME/CFS
Myalgic encephalomyelitis, also called chronic fatigue syndrome. A serious long-term illness, often triggered by infection, defined by post-exertional malaise, unrefreshing sleep, cognitive difficulty, and a major loss of function.

POTS and dysautonomia
Dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system, including postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. Standing can bring on a racing heart, dizziness, fatigue, brain fog, and weakness. POTS and dysautonomia frequently overlap with Long COVID, ME/CFS, MCAS, and hypermobility.
Learn more -
MCAS
Mast cell activation syndrome. Mast cells release mediators inappropriately, which can contribute to flushing, hives, GI symptoms, food or medication reactions, fatigue, and flares that may overlap with other complex conditions.
Learn more -
hEDS and hypermobility
Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and hypermobility spectrum disorders affect connective tissue throughout the body. They can contribute to joint pain, instability, fatigue, dysautonomia, GI symptoms, and a higher rate of co-occurring POTS and MCAS.
Learn more -
Craniocervical instability
Excessive movement where the skull meets the upper spine, more common in people with connective tissue disorders. It can contribute to headaches, neurological symptoms, neck pain, and worsening autonomic symptoms in some patients.
Learn more -
Fibromyalgia
A condition associated with widespread pain, fatigue, unrefreshing sleep, and cognitive difficulty. It often overlaps with ME/CFS, Long COVID, dysautonomia, and other complex, multi-system illnesses.
Learn more -
Small fiber neuropathy
Damage or dysfunction in the small nerve fibers that carry pain and autonomic signals. It can contribute to burning pain, numbness, tingling, temperature sensitivity, and autonomic symptoms, and is increasingly recognized in several complex illness populations.
Learn more -
SIBO
Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth: an excess of bacteria in the small intestine that can contribute to bloating, pain, irregular bowel habits, and nutrient absorption problems. It can occur alongside dysautonomia and connective tissue conditions, where gut motility may be impaired.
Learn more -
Autoimmune and inflammatory conditions
Immune dysregulation and autoimmunity can accompany or contribute to complex chronic illness. This may include established autoimmune disease or evolving inflammatory patterns that require careful clinical interpretation.
Learn more -
Lyme and tick-borne infections
Lyme disease and other tick-borne infections can be associated with fatigue, joint and nerve pain, cognitive symptoms, and other persistent problems. These cases require careful evaluation of history, testing, prior treatment, and possible overlapping conditions.
Learn more -
Post-viral and post-infectious illness
Long-term illness that follows a viral or other infection. When symptoms persist long after the initial trigger, Vindara Health looks at the whole picture rather than treating the illness as a single isolated problem.
Learn more -
Chronic and reactivated infections
Persistent or reactivated infections, such as Epstein-Barr virus and other pathogens, may contribute to immune activation or symptoms in some patients. Evaluation depends on clinical history, testing, and the broader pattern of illness.

Our approach
Complex illness rarely comes from a single system.
Many people reach us after years of appointments, normal test results, and specialists focused on only one piece of the puzzle.
We identify the interacting systems contributing to symptoms and treat them systematically.
Because complex illness deserves a more complete view.
Where to start
You don't need a formal diagnosis to start.
Many people come to us with long-term symptoms, partial diagnoses, or years of inconclusive testing. If your symptoms suggest a complex, multi-system illness, our team can help you understand whether Vindara Health may be a fit.
If your condition isn't listed here, it may still be worth a conversation. Reach out and tell us what you're navigating.
