Working at Vindara Health
We're a small team, and you'd work closely with all of us. Here's who we are, how we work, and what one of our clinicians has to say about it.
Why we started
Our CEO, Paddy, has lived with Long COVID since 2020. He knows firsthand how hard it is to find a clinician who understands these conditions, and what it's like to coordinate a complex illness largely on your own.
Dr. Kaufman has spent years treating exactly these patients and knows what good care looks like. Vindara Health is our attempt to make that care available to many more people: one team, looking at the whole picture, over the long term.

We're a small team, but we don't work alone. We're connected to leading clinicians, researchers and patient advocacy groups across the field, all working toward the same goal: better care for the millions of people living with these conditions.

How we work
- Case rounds
- Clinicians bring their complex cases to rounds with Dr. Kaufman and the team.
- Team meetings
- Clinical, product and engineering meet every week, so everyone knows what's working and what isn't.
- We listen
- If something in the platform or the way we work gets in your way, tell us. We listen, and we work on it.
Victoria Towers, PhD, DNP
Clinical Product Lead & Nurse Practitioner
Victoria was our first clinician. She sees patients and leads the design of our clinical platform. We asked her a few questions.
- What led you to Vindara Health?
- “My nursing career started at the bedside in the NICU where I saw technology function as both an asset and an obstacle, sometimes within the same shift. My doctoral research focused on virtual care design and how clinicians can use and optimize telehealth in ways that respond to context rather than underutilize it.”
- What are you most excited about building here?
- “For patients managing complex, chronic illnesses, the administrative burden becomes a clinical problem in its own right and consumes the energy and cognitive reserve that patients need for their actual care. I've encountered this as a clinician, as a patient, and as a caregiver. Being able to offer care while also inviting patients and clinicians into the work of advancing the growing body of knowledge is a rare and meaningful opportunity for all involved.”
- One thing people might not know about you?
- “I'm a wholehearted advocate for animal-assisted therapy in all its many forms. I've been a longstanding volunteer at hippotherapy centers supporting individuals with various conditions including musculoskeletal diseases and PTSD, and in the training and care of therapy dogs.”
